The TUNE Network held an innovative online speed-dating session in August 2025, bringing together its members to strengthen collaboration and co-creation for upcoming project submission deadlines, by facilitating the exchange of ideas and partnership opportunities. Ahead of the event, participants completed a form outlining their thematic interests, proposal ideas, targeted project calls (such as Erasmus+, CERV, Creative Europe), and the types of partners they were seeking. This preparation phase allowed United Societies of Balkans as the coordinator organisation to group participants in tailored rooms, ensuring that members with aligned priorities, complementary expertise, or shared call targets were matched for meaningful and efficient exchanges.
During the two rounds of structured short pitches and guided discussions, participants introduced their project ideas, presented the roles their organizations could take on, and described the areas where they required support. The format encouraged identifying overlaps, discovering complementarities, and even merging smaller ideas into more ambitious, joint concepts. Many groups used the prompts to explore how upcoming calls could fit their shared interests and to define concrete next steps, such as drafting concept notes or organizing follow-up meetings. Each group concluded with at least one action, laying the groundwork for long-term cooperation within the TUNE network and further reinforcing its growing culture of reciprocity and mutual support.
