The TUNE Network launched its 2025 cycle with a vibrant and constructive online meeting, gathering representatives from member organisations.
The session marked the official expansion of the network—welcoming four new members from Spain, Germany, France, and Bosnia and Herzegovina—and introduced key updates and objectives for the year ahead. The meeting opened with organisational introductions, giving space for each partner's to share their expertise. The atmosphere was both professional and warm, with an icebreaker that brought a splash of color—literally—as participants shared their favorite hues.
The network’s renewed vision for 2025 was presented, centering on youth-led, inclusive, and participatory approaches. TUNE aims to equip young people and youth workers with the tools and confidence to influence local governance and inform policy at national and European levels.
What’s Ahead in 2025

Online Capacity-Building Training (led by USB): Partners will receive training on how to ethically conduct research and ways to exploit and disseminate their research results in diverse audiences.

Research to gather youth insights arounf TUNE member countries: Each organization will engage a group of at least 20–50 young peoplefrom their local context in this research.

International Youth Mobility: The hosting of this event will be appointed to one of the members that will express interest and the decision will be based on evaluating their proposal and expertise. The international youth trainnig will focus on debating skills and policy development through youth-led dialogues.

Local Youth Debates: All members will organize inclusive debates with local youth—particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds—on topics such as inclusion, civic life, and local governance.

General Assembly 2025: Scheduled for late 2025 in Thessaloniki, the GA will serve as a reflective and strategic milestone. Partners are encouraged to propose topics and activities.
The meeting also addressed the upcoming Strategic Planning for the 2026–2027 Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA). Members were urged to take ownership of the network’s future by contributing ideas and helping shape a participatory and ambitious agenda.
